Well The season has come to an END!!!!

I just want everyone to know I had a great time coaching this group of girls. We didn't win a game but we had fun..or I hope that all of you had fun...We may not have came in 1st place but we had the best Sportsmanship...And we held our head up every single game...Now we will have ALL Stars, and yes we signed up for it...So we would have enough...LOL...

We Have Had A Little break But we are Back

Monday 6:00 We will meet the Southern Rebels once more. Each game we are starting to look more and more like a team. I have been out of town so I hope that the girls all had a good break and are rested up to play some hard Ball.........................................

It not the End of The World

I hope you all are having fun even though we can't seem to pull off a win. I have faith that we will soon come together as a team and bet the Southern Rebels..We had a great practice Last night and are starting to look like a team...I know we can beat them you guys have got to work together and talk to each other, encourage your pitcher, let everyone know where the play is, cheer when we are at bat and if one person starts getting down, pick them up..Like I have said there is not an "I" in "TEAM"... If you hear the other team saying negetive things then encourge each other even more...

This is the 18U MISFITS, and as you can see the name truly fits them, I picked the name then Picked the Girls.So far we seem to be having fun. We will see if we can play some ball come Saturday..12:00 when we Take on the Southern Rebels. I have a good group of Girls who are willing to Beat the Cold to get in a little Practice...Even on Tuesday this week one of the coldest nights there was 8 of them there..Now keep in mind I only have 10 girls on the team...The other Funny thing is 6 of the 10 are homeschoolers... Well Lets have a safe season and Fun too...

Opening Day Is Saturday

Saturday is opening Day at the Park. We need to be at the stadium at 8:00 to decorate our Truck. We play at 12:00...Misty Lil'Shortie will celebrate her Birthday on Saturday with Pizza after our game..Hope you all are having fun so far. And that we have a fun season...

Welcome to The 2008 Softball Season "GO MISFITS GO"

I hope to make this a fun season for each of you. I hope that we win a few games as well. I think that we will have a close season in that both teams are Balanced with skill. I am all about winning but I am more about fun, and Sportsmanship. If we lose I want us to lose with class and walk of the field saying we had fun.

Well 1st off: Practice for the next two weeks will be basic, and to see how we play with each of you at different positions. So bare with me in moving you around alot, I know where some of you will play, but my plan is to let everyone play in the infield as well as the outfield.
Opening day will be a fun day, our game is at 12:00 so Lets try to stay rested and not get drug down in all the Opening Day Hussle and Bussle..
So we can go out and Start the season off right....
